He quickly took an interest in the sanitary industry and loves working with the diverse customers that Rodem does business with. In 2020 he joined the Sales and Marketing team as our E-commerce Specialist. He enjoys learning more about how these industries function to be more adequate with our customer’s desires and needs. Originally from Columbus, Ohio, Derek attended the University of Cincinnati where he obtained a B.S. in Business Administration with a focus in accounting. Interestingly enough, Derek was able to pay for his first year of college tuition without student loans due to a smart investment he made while still in high school. Derek asked his dad to invest his birthday money he had saved up in Sirius XM Radio when it was just cents a share. He ended up quadrupling his money! Outside of the office, Derek enjoys playing tennis and basketball, attending sporting and community events with family and friends, and exploring different cultures through food and activities.
